To plan for an exhibition I decided to use shapes to come up with how my exhibition boards could potentially look. I used the red squares to represent each piece from my project – with appropriate titles for each – and the smaller blue tile represents my information. As my work is 2D art, each exhibition board would have one piece of my project, so I expect my layout to be rather simple.
Exhibition Plan 1

My first plan has a simple layout, showing the two main buildings to the left, both displaying the Order and Chaos theme. My name plate would be placed in the centre, with my Closeup piece would be set to the right side as it is more additional work. Although a simple layout, it could end up with a lot of negative space, which may not be a very well done idea, as it could be visually offsetting.
Exhibition Plan 2

My next plan is also simple, with a similar visual of my main ideas, the Order and Chaos, being close together, this time at the top. My nameplate would be below, with my Closeup beside it. As the Closeup is more linked to the Chaos side, it seemed like a good visual to have the Closeup beneath that exhibition board.
Exhibition Plan 3

The third idea is very similar to that of idea 2, only placed on its side. The Order and Chaos board would be together on the left, and the nameplate and Closeup being on the right. Again, I would position the Closeup to be next to my Chaos exhibition, as the two are linked. Idea 2 and 3 are possibly most ideal as they would lack the negative space as idea 1 has.
Exhibition Plan 4

My final idea is a bit more bizarre. My Order piece would be at the top, with the Chaos and Closeup at the bottom, but between all three of them, is the name plate, giving the plan an almost triangle shape. It has a very cool shape, almost unique, however it could pose an issue of negative space, as well as issues for positioning for other exhibitions.
