As I don’t want to go to university, I just filled in details as if I was going to one of the universities I did for my university research.

This screenshot is about the student support.

This section in UCAS is for my education. I’ve put down my GCSE’s and the course I am currently doing.
Personal Statement
I have always been fascinated by how games are developed and how they attract players and have an interactive environment. In particular, the visual side of games such as 3D modelling and concept art.
I have always been interested in how games bring interactivity from the players including VR, online gaming and UI controls. My greatest interest is in games design which I enjoy doing at college, such as concept art from the first piece to the final design. I like seeing how designs change over time to become the perfect product in the end.
I am quite imaginative when it comes to concept designs. I tend to do a lot of fanart for the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and I have my own DeviantArt page for this work, focusing mostly on characters. I create my own new characters that would fit into the Sonic universe, and I am constantly changing and developing them until they look like they could be a part of the official game.
I also do quite a lot of environmental concept art, generally aiming towards the 3D platformer games that don’t have a realistic style.I have also recently developed an interest in the style for British railway posters from the early 1900’s, and I produced some for my final major project for my first year in college. I am hoping to continue developing this style of artwork, and possibly integrate it into the work I am currently doing.
I am currently doing a UAL Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production – Games Development course, which focuses on multiple aspects in Game Development, such as 2D art including Photoshop, Illustrator and using graphics tablets, 3D modelling and texturing, using software such as Maya and Substance Painter, and programming with Unity and Unreal Engine 4. I have also done a GCSE Level 2 qualification in CiDA (Certificate in Digital Applications) where I had to make my own game for the final project of the first year, and I had to design all of my assets and environments from scratch. I have also done an A-Level BTEC Level 3 course in Computer Science, and one of the modules resolved around game development, and focusing on areas including design, layout, target audiences and how games are played.
I am a personal artist, I spend most of the day drawing and researching possible art styles and how I can change up character appearances. I mostly do my artwork traditionally, however, in the past few months, since I now have a graphics tablet, I have been using other forms of software to enhance my artwork into digital artwork, with some of the software that I have been using including Gimp and Photoshop.
